1. Clean Tap Aerators and Shower Heads
If the low pressure is isolated to a single faucet or shower head, check the aerator at the tip of the spout. Mineral scale and debris from pipe repairs often collect inside the mesh filter, blocking water flow.
2. Check the Main Shut-off Valves
Ensure the main shut-off valves for your property are fully open. If you have recently had repair work done, the technician might have left a supply valve partially closed, restricting flow throughout the system.
3. Inspect the Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV)
Many homes in Dubai have a pressure reducing valve installed near the main meter to protect the pipes from overpressure. If this mechanical valve fails, it can cut pressure to a trickle. Our technicians can replace failed PRVs quickly.
