Garden irrigation loops and main supply lines from water meters often split due to soil settling or tree root pressure. We isolate the line, use tracer gas or acoustic sound scanners to locate the split, and execute target excavation of the lawn area to reach the damaged PPR or polyethylene pipe.

Safe Gas Tracing for Soil-Concealed Runs

Tracing deep lines requires specialized tracer gas. We drain the pipeline, inject the nitrogen-hydrogen mixture under safe pressure, and scan the surface. Once the gas sensor identifies the leak plume, we excavate a neat access pit directly over the split joint, preserving the rest of your garden.

Pipe Welding and Coupling Replacement Process

Our plumbers cut away the damaged pipe section, clean the joints, and weld high-strength PPR or PEX couplings using heat-fusion equipment. We backfill the excavated pit with soft sand to act as a buffer against shifting soil, pressure-test the line to ensure it holds pressure, and restore the garden surface.
